This year Parti Gras is celebrating forty years (!) of fundraising for education, and they chose an awesome throw-back theme to mark the occasion: Smooth Sailing!

Inspired by the cool tunes and chill vibes of early ‘70s-late ‘80s Yacht Rock. To say we are beyond stoked about the styling opportunities this presents is a gross understatement. We’re talking wide-collar shirts in out-of-this-world prints, a kicky silk scarf around the neck, a crisp blue-and-white stripe sweater, an irreverent nautical blazer, a whole array of fantastic sunnies—you get the idea. If you need a little styling help or inspiration, we’re here for you: pulling looks for special events is our speciality, and we can coordinate an outfit that feels true vintage without being costume-y.
